“It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.”
Baza Education project, Launched in 2012 is a 501 (c) (3) not for profit organization that aims to improve education for orphans in Africa and to transform non-working graduates into working teachers that can help harness the human potential of kids throughout the continent. Baza Education helps improve education through adequate tutoring and financial support to neglected children. We take poor children off the street and enroll them into local schools and provide school supplies for them. The current phase of the initiative is focus in Togo (West Africa).
In Togo, with the help of our sponsors, we currently employ 115 tutors and 17 coordinators recruited among non-working graduates and retired teachers. They are deployed in 17 villages. So far we are supporting the education and mentorship of 3683 Kids throughout these localities. The average success rates of our Baza Kids through the past 4 years is 99% and we can do better.
We are in the midst of our 2016 fundraising campaign to buy school supplies for the orphans that currently rely on our support. Our goal is to raise $7000 and your contribution will help once more to support a vulnerable child.
With this Fund raising, we are asking once more for your generous contribution to this cause. Please invite your friends, colleagues and family to contribute. You will be giving hope to a child with no hope.
- With $10, we can buy school supplies for 1 orphan
- With $20, we can buy school supplies for 2 orphans
